Naloxone
Naloxone, known by the brand name Narcan, is a medication that can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose from a prescription opioid, heroin, fentanyl, and other drugs mixed with opioids. Because fentanyl is more potent than other opioids, additional doses of naloxone may be required to reverse an overdose.
Naloxone nasal spray is now available in more than 2,000 pharmacies across New York State. Individuals who are at risk for an overdose and their family members and friends may acquire naloxone in these pharmacies without bringing in a prescription. Community-based organizations also dispense naloxone kits and provide free training on how to administer naloxone, and how to recognize/respond to the signs of an overdose.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Rapid ResponseTMFentanyl (FYL) Forensic Test Kit is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Fentanyl/Norfentanyl in liquid and powder substances at the cut-off concentration of 200 ng/mL.
It is specific for Fentanyl screening with no significant cross reactivity to other opiates, such as Morphine and Heroin. The Rapid ResponseTMFentanyl (FYL) Forensic Test Kit is able to detect Fentanyl and many other Fentanyl analogues such as Carfentanil, Acetyl Fentanyl, Butyryl Fentanyl, Remifentanil, Ocfentanil, Sufentanil, p-Fluoro Fentanyl, Furanyl Fentanyl, Valeryl Fentanyl, and 3-Methyl Fentanyl.
Interpretation of test results are: positive (one line), negative (two lines), invalid (no lines or no control line).
