Justin Hamm- Executive Director

Email: Hamm.Justin@SCCASA518.org

I have been on board here at SCCASA since March of 2020. I have been working in the Prevention/Addiction Support field since 20212. I started my journey in the addiction service field in Delaware County at ADAC. I was a Prevention Educator then moved into the Assistant Director role. My favorite part of the work we do is educating people on substance use and to help connect the community to resources that our office provides.

Hi! I am a Prevention Educator here at SCCASA.  I have been working here for about two years now.  My favorite part about my job is that I get to work with many students, grades K-12, throughout our county.  We teach prevention and character development through our Too Good For Drugs curriculum. I am very grateful to be a part of an organization that empowers our youth with the necessary skills to help keep them on track towards reaching their goals and living a healthy life.

I have been working as a Peer Engagement Specialist (recovery coach) at SCCASA since 2019 and have been on the Opiate Task Force since 2017 after years of involvement in AA at the district level.  I have been in recovery myself since 2015.  In 2006 I moved to Carlisle following a career in retail management and now enjoy working with others suffering from substance use disorder.

Hello! My name is Blakely and I took the family support navigator position here at SCCASA in July of 2023. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University at Albany in December of 2022. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in mental health counseling at the same University and expect to complete it in December of 2024. This position at SCCASA was the perfect opportunity for me to gain experience in my field. When asked why I decided to choose this field of study, I always say I am being the person I needed when I was younger. The same applies to this job. We all know and love somebody that struggles, whether that be with mental health or substance issues. I look forward to working with the community that has raised me, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Cameron Strang- Prevention Educator

My name is Cameron Strang. I recently graduated from Hartwick college with a bachelors degree in both sociology and criminal justice. While studying at Hartwick, I found a passion for health and wellness through my work study job as a peer health educator. I was fortunate enough to be able to continue perusing my passion for health education through SCCASA in the county that I grew up in. I’m very excited to see what we can bring to the county and the community with the group of great people we have here at SCCASA.

Kobe-

Cameron’s Dog, but our office sweetheart.
