Rebecca Schroeder- Executive Director
Email: Executive.Director@SCCASA518.org
I began my career at SCCASA in 2011 as a Prevention Educator. Over the years, I had the opportunity to broaden my knowledge by working with other organizations, which enriched my perspective and deepened my understanding of the challenges and opportunities within this field. I was fortunate to return to SCCASA as Executive Director, bringing with me both new insights and a renewed commitment to the organization’s mission. What I find most rewarding about my work here is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our community, lead a dedicated team, and contribute to initiatives that support individuals in their journey toward healing and empowerment.

Hi! I am a Prevention Educator here at SCCASA. I have been working here for about five years now. My favorite part about my job is that I get to work with many students, grades K-12, throughout our county. We teach prevention and character development through our Too Good For Drugs curriculum. I am very grateful to be a part of an organization that empowers our youth with the necessary skills to help keep them on track towards reaching their goals and living a healthy life.

Hello! My name is Blakely and I took the family support navigator position here at SCCASA in July of 2023. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University at Albany in December of 2022. I am currently pursuing my graduate degree in mental health counseling at the same University and expect to complete it in December of 2024. This position at SCCASA was the perfect opportunity for me to gain experience in my field. When asked why I decided to choose this field of study, I always say I am being the person I needed when I was younger. The same applies to this job. We all know and love somebody that struggles, whether that be with mental health or substance issues. I look forward to working with the community that has raised me, please do not hesitate to reach out!
